New barriers for Agribusiness

IMG Partners Attorneys at Law performed a redemption of reorganized collective agricultural enterprise, accompanying project of its client - ROPA UKRAINE.

Having extensive experience in managing such projects, lawyers of IMG Partners faced with many problems caused by imperfect legislation in the field of state registration of real estate.

Currently, the legislation does not provide the procedure of the registration of property, which existed on the balance sheet of reorganized collective farms. Given these problematic circumstances lawyers of IMG Partners addressed to the Minister of Justice of Ukraine – Pavlo Petrenkofor clarification of circumstances, which aren`t currently regulated by law. We have high hopes for the efforts of Pavlo Petrenko as this issue is extremely important.

Many agricultural enterprises expand their land bank and property complexes by purchasing of such reorganized collective farms.

Thus, current law is a barrier to the further development of medium and large agricultural companies, although agricultural business is extremely important for Ukraine's economy.

We hope for the cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and Pavel Petrenko personally, as the resolution of this situation will help all farmers of Ukraine.
