Prospects of Ukrainian-Iranian business

Ukrainian-Iranian Business Forum and the 23rd International Exhibition of technologies and equipment for the food and agricultural industry "Iran Food and Hospitality Expo" was held in Tehran last week. 

It should be mentioned that the market for Iran is considered by many countries as one of the most promising in the region. According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Iran ranked fourth in the Middle East region by volumes of trade with specific gravity of 7.7% in 2015.

Head of International Trade of IMG Partners Olga Osypchuk has visited these important measures. She said: "It is gratifying to note that the interest of Ukrainian companies to the Iranian market and cooperation with Iranian counterparties increases. More and more companies consider this area as the long-term cooperation. Iran is also considering Ukraine as a reliable partner, because trade between the two countries was carried and Ukraine fulfilled its obligations despite the sanctions.

It is important that now is a good time to enter the Iranian market. Firstly, it concerns the agricultural sector, because the need for agricultural products and food industry is growing. Secondly, after the partial lifting of international economic sanctions on Iran, it starts implementing of many projects for the development of the national economic in various fields. Moreover, Iran is ready to cooperate with Ukraine".
